Jihad D. Dixon
Jihad D. Dixon, from Charleston, WV, currently serves as an Admission Counselor at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. He holds a Master’s Degree of Higher Education Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from West Virginia University.
Jihad has experience in social justice movements and advocacy. In 2018, Jihad was appointed by the Governor of West Virginia to serve as commissioner on the MLK Statewide Commission in the Governor of WV’s Herbert Henderson Office of Minority Affairs. Jihad is the former president of the WVU NAACP where he served for over 3 years. Jihad is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., WVU’s Mountain Honorary Society, and a lifetimemember of the NAACP.
CARE is an organization leading the charge everyday for equality and racial justice. We have a duty to the state of WV, our nation, and our world to wake up and continue to lead that effort every day.
